All of the immigrant individuals and families whom we accompany have passed through horrible injustice and a very long journey to arrive here, hoping for refuge. In this space, you can hear from them, see some photos of our activities together, and read our monthly update on their struggles and accomplishments. You can also donate to support them and/or to support our work with them.

Our family network and our support circles are part of ECAS, the Ecumenical Collaboration for Asylum-Seekers. Matthew25/Mateo 25 called together our allies and partners in May 2018, including the Pacific Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church USA, the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, the Southwest California Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the California Pacific Conference of the United Methodist Church as well as CLUE and WeCare to coordinate a common response to the needs of asylum-seekers using the M25 model.

We are the lead agency of ECAS, coordinating our common effort. We also supervise the part-time ECAS staff, Luis Gonzales.

En “La Sala” you will be able to hear and learn about the stories of our families.

Student interns with the ECAS program of Matthew 25 SoCal interviewed 3 young teenagers that came to the united states as unaccompanied minors. They faced persecution in their home countries, and were forced to migrate without an adult, as thousands of children have been forced to because of the turmoil in El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala.
