DACA has allowed me to develop my professional aspirations, potential, and expand my efforts towards the well being of the city where I live. DACA has truly been a life-giving yet temporary solution.
The uncertainty of DACA and therefore the uncertainty of my future over the last 4 years, have had emotional and psychological consequences on my family and me. As solid as our faith is, we’re human, and the constant unknown and fear of deportation creeps in from time to time.

DACA has been good for the US economy and life-changing for Dreamers, who just want a chance to work, go to school, and lead productive lives. But the DACA program is so fickle, as we've witnessed over the last few years, and leaves out so many other immigrants wanting the same opportunities. I hope Congress and the Biden administration will work together on a permanent, bi-partisan solution for Dreamers and fellow immigrants.

Our faith calls us to fight for justice
We are a coalition of Christians - immigrants, non-immigrants, and bilingual and bicultural young people that have been organizing since 2016.
Our Method
Advocacy
We organize with community leaders and advocate for a more just system for asylum seekers.
Education
We work with faith groups to give testimony to the world of Jesus’ reality, living God’s justice and peace.
Accompaniment
We come alongside migrants, and recognize their resilience.

The message of Matthew 25 is rising up at the grassroots level and among faith leaders — within faith communities, congregations, denominations, seminaries, and faith-based organizations. It's the Gospel text where Jesus says: How you treat the most vulnerable is how you treat me.
